Honda partnered with three tuners to create a fleet of special 2012 Civics for the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Tjin Edition Civic Si
Designed to be a useful and livable daily driver with an added dose of style, the Tjin Edition Civic Si sedan features a custom matte wrap by Daley Visual and Wraptivo. Carbon fiber adorns the front grille, roof, rear wing and diffuser, while purple one-off 19-inch alloy wheels by Rotiform BLQ finish the look.
Inside, this Civic gets black leather seats with a contrasting purple diamond stitch, plus a pair of Recaro child seats that clearly show off the ride’s family-friendly attitude.
To make drivers and little passengers smile, the Civic also offers a Function and Forum coilover suspension and a Realm Audio sound system.
Bisimoto Civic Si
Easy to spot in its race-inspired bright blue paint scheme, the Bisimoto effort is more notable for what’s under its hood than what surrounds it: A 1,004-horsepower turbocharged, factory-based K2427 four-cylinder engine.
Bisimoto was able to crank out that much grunt with its own steel rods, Turbonetic turbocharger, intake, injectors and camshafts, plus Portflow headers.
Although the Bisimoto Civic remains front-wheel-drive, the chassis makes the most of the power thanks to Eibach coilovers and Falken 18-inch tires wrapping Eins Gramm alloy wheels.
Inside, racing seats and other performance-aiding modifications were added.
blink-182 factory-prepped Civic Si
The only factory effort at SEMA is the matte black Civic Si coupe, which features graphics promoting rock band blink-182. Santini Paint provided the matte finish, while Honda Factory Performance supplied a special bodykit. To complete the look, the car features matte black 18-inch “Lightning” alloy wheels by Konig.
Honda says that the car was designed to take part in its 2011 Honda Civic Tour
