Like a salesman’s sample case, the Subaru WRX STI that graced the SEMA show floor today served as a rolling showcase for the automaker’s Subaru Performance Tuning division.

Aside from its outlandish paint scheme, the hatchback rode on 19-inch Volkracing wheels wrapped in Yokohama tires. SPT lent suspension upgrades like a strut tower brace and a lower chassis brace, while Brembo supplied “Gran Turismo” four-wheel discs.

SPT further worked on the Subaru’s powertrain with a short-throw shifter, a performance exhaust system and a turbo heat shield.

Rather than simply look like a resprayed STI, Subaru made sure SPT added in goodies like a lip spoiler, shift knob, carbon fiber interior trim parts and a moonroof air deflector.

Subaru told Leftlane that all of the non-paint upgrades on this WRX STI could be ordered through SPT’s catalog.
