Geeze, as if there are people complaining about prices for Mustangs, even if they mark this new one up 10,000 you still get more bang for your buck than anything else at that cost!!!

I kinda like it...I was sort of sad because I would have loved to go to the SEMA show. alas. i've been trying to follow it online on the site - been watching the video highlights, which are pretty sweet http://sema.carcrazycentral.com/Video/All

Also downloaded some of the "concept cars" as my wallpaper. all cars. all the time.

I'm not a fan of the wheels on this car. Or the J.C. Whitney add-on guages. You'd think the folks at Shelby would aim higher than that.

Personally, I like the new Mustang. I think it looks great in the base GT version; it's what I would call a "clean" design. I also like the some of the six-cylinder versions. But I am getting tired of all the add-on crap that people put on it.

I also really think that Ford should spend a few more bucks on the interior for the mid-life update. They nailed the styling on the exterior, but the interior has always come off as a bit cheesey to me. They should also put a nicer 6-cylinder in the base model; the one they use now sounds like a really nice tractor engine to me. Maybe they'll answer my wishes by putting the new 3.5 liter that they're going to use in the Edge, in the Mustang.

Wait, Lemme guess: Its the basket-handle roll-bar from an 80's Rabbit Convertible - that's the "Bold Move" here, Right???

Oh, BTW - you realize that in a few weeks, they'll be painting a Shelby GT Coupe w/ a few mods Dark Highlander Green and selling it as a "Bullitt" (Yawn...)

This Special Edition Mustang stuff is getting old way too fast - I don't think Mazda ever did this many Special-Edition Miata's...

Bring me Euro-Focus!!!

The 'whore' Ford dealers will make rediculous market adjustments to these cars. I like the Mustang a lot. The dealers, however, overprice every good one into BMW territory where the Mustang gets passed over by anyone with an IQ over 90.

Yawn.

My neighbour has a kick-ass 06 Yellow GT coupe with louvers over the C-pillar DLOs, special wheels/tires and an aftermarket exhaust. Her car sounds bad-ass and looks great...what else do ya need??

All these EXCESS variations built in smaller numbers seems a too obvious to fatten wallets at Barret-Jackson's (or whomever) 2025 auction...

"This one, Jim, is from a very limited series that has the stripe moved 2mm off centre-line and the ga-ga collectors are all teleporting in there massive bids of Chinese Yuan..."

Ah, well, that's what I get for not paying attention. I had heard of both the Shelby GT and the Hertz model, but did not deduce they were identical. Seems so obvious now.

Thanks

i havent liked a lot of the mustangs, but this one looks slightly better than some of the other ones.....

i will grant that ford has been a little bit to reliant on variations of their respective cars, espically the mustang....

i also agree that we should hope for something innovatvie....but at the same time...that same user said that "another big ass truck doesnt count" i saw that big ass truck at the texas state fair-the new super duty is innovative, and looks a lot better than i thought it would...even though i am not the fan of the big ass truck...we have way too many here in texas....

and has chrysler not done that look at the charger and its variants, there is even a super bee edition of the truck...and they have started with the unreleased challenger...

not to mention doge's overusage of the "hemi" brand

nowei they have the Shelby GT which is identical to the Hertz version, only with different paint schemes, a manual transmission, and the lack of the H. I assume if they produced this, they would do the same with the mirrored Shelby GT model.

I personally like all the variants of the Mustang. It's cool to see an American car get modded for once, and if you get one, it'll make you feel unique because all of these have limited production tuns.

You know, I was having a really hard time choosing from the other 2,345,762,347,532,487,632,458,762,345 Mustangs available. I think THIS one might just be it for me.

Don't remember who said it (on LLN) exactly, but we better see something innovative aat SEMA from Ford, dammit! That DOES NOT mean another big ass truck or the 2,345,762,347,532,487,632,458,762,345th iteration of the Mustang.

Umm, if it is a GT-H will it even be available to the public? I thought the idea behind the first GT-H was that it was only sold to Hertz. So the only way people could get their hands on one was to rent it.

They should just rename it to the Shelby GT-M. The "M" standing for "Markup".

Wheels are OK. Not feeling those studs though. The car would look better with the Bullet wheels in black.

Too bad there are probably going to be pricing this car $10,000-$15,000 over MSRP.
