Our friends at Jalopnik found yet another wacky car news story. This time, a sheriff’s deputy in Noble s County, Minnesota is at the center of much media attention. Apparently, the officer destroyed three police vehicles in the last 18 months on public roads. The latest crash was Aug. 9, less than three weeks after the same deputy totaled another county squad car. Sheriff Kent Wilkening said the deputy had to attend driving school and that other steps were taken. He reminded the commissioners that deputies often drive more than 250 miles in a night, often at high speeds with lights flashing.
