Shock: 2007/2008 Cadillac CTS spied in testing

04/21/2006, 2:34 PM

By admin

When General Motors previewed a mysterious Cadillac model on 60 Minutes in early April, it was clear the next-generation Cadillac CTS was much farther along than anyone expected. The preview caught a lot of observers off guard, because two major auto shows — Detroit and Geneva — had just passed. Now, the spies from KGP Photography have caught what appears to be a nearly identical car in testing on a track. While Edmunds says to expect a concept version of the car at the next Detroit auto show, and a production version in late 2007, we suspect things might be a little further ahead than that. This car looks nearly complete. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this car in “concept” form some time this year — sooner rather than later. I am very excited to see where this leads…. I think that is a GREAT looking vehicle from what has been shown!

The turnaround at Saturn and Cadillac is outstanding.

The new Caddys are among the most gorgeous and distinctive cars on the road today. Too bad they’re features don’t even compare to the other competitors in their class.

Altima? Are you smoking pole? Or perhaps crack? Were you under a rock when the photo’s of the front end and the interior were shown on 60 Minutes?

Stupidity never ceases to amaze me…this is CLS, not BLS

Think maybe they’ll spend more then 10 cents on the interior this time? It’s pretty sad when your interior is outclassed by a Kia… There is truely nowhere to go but up with this design.

From what I can tell that door and part of the dash look like they are the same as the interior from 60 Minutes. If that is the case this is a fantastic improvement and I cant wait to see it!!!!

It looks smaller than the current CTS. I think it’s the North American version of the European BLS.

I hope that they put a sporty steering wheel, not that huge school-bus one that it had before.
