BMW is doing the right thing to prevent brand degradation and poor resale value. They don’t want to end up like the Big 3.

So they are now even less of a good deal. Sales are slowing, shouldn’t you be trying increase sales w/incentives, if for no other reason to protect jobs.

Are they trying to offset the exhorbatant warranty costs and high repair costs due to poor quality and lackluster engineering that they put into these piles of crap? Is this the sign of hope that Americans have been wanting? BMW on their way out of business?

Its about time BMW started to offer some relevant powerplants (in light of energy costs) for the US market. A turbocharged 4 cylinder is long overdue, and its great to hear there will be a range of 4 cylinder engines. I’m sure these engines will be spectacular, especially mated to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission.

I can’t wait for all the stupid comments from ricerboys. Yeah! Go rice! Truth is though, we don’t need any more SUVs, BMW. Get the hint. Kudos for working on turbo-4s.
