Sirius Satellite Radio surpasses 3 million subscribers

Sirius Satellite Radio yesterday announced that it recently surpassed three million subscribers and expects a strong year-end. Sirius radios are currently offered in vehicles from Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln-Mercury, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Nissan, Scion, Toyota, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo. Hertz currently offers Sirius at major locations around the country. Recently, Mercedes said it would make Sirius standard on the 2007 CL and SL. Sirius and DaimlerChrysler also announced they have extended their relationship through September 1, 2012.
