Skoda has unveiled its latest VisionD concept at the Geneva Motor Show. In addition to previewing the brand’s future design language, the VisionD also wear’s the automaker’s freshened logo.
Skoda didn’t release any details on the concept, but says the “car boasts clearly defined shapes and a great sense of detail.” The concept’s design language will eventually be seen throughout the Skoda lineup.
“VisionD singles out characteristic design elements of the Škoda brand and guides them towards the future,” Skoda said in a statement. “The long wheelbase and short overhangs are a prerequisite for successful automotive architecture as they both allow for above-average interior space and, coupled with the dynamic roof line, lend the car a high degree of visual majesty.”
In addition to previewing Skoda’s new design language, the VisionD also usher in the automaker’s new logo. The logo retains its winged-arrow motif, but adds “a new spectrum of colors.” The new logo will appear on all Skoda vehicles from 2012.
