I hope they take that year to make this a truly special vehicle. The 9-3 and 9-5 were highly respected and loved models that have been disgraced by comptemporary GM planners. Either give them the respect they need or let someone else buy them.

Why GM, why? I was holding out for the 9-4X or maybe the 9-5. I guess my money will go to a MB GLK or E Class. Those idiots in GM HQ are starving SAAB to death. It would be merciful to just pull the plug or even better sell the brand to a company that gets it.

Caddy may be so called premium in the US. In the rest of theworld it’s just a big ugly joke. Check out the sales figures for Europe. It’s even more dead there than Saab is in the US.

I like this more then the caddy, and even though it would never happen, would be cool to see them turn saab into a more sports division and get rid of pontiac. Saab actually has some identity as of pontiac doesnt.

Saab is a dead brand walking anyway. I’m a long time saabophile, but in all honesty, it’s not worth saving – Cadillac is the premium brand in GM’s stable. Saab is just a dead weight.
