MINI is rumored to be prepping a Special Edition convertible known as the Highgate.
The new MINI is will be the latest product developed by MINI Yours, the company’s exclusive high-end exclusive options and custom vehicles program.
The forthcoming Highgate is said to follow in the footsteps of the MINI Clubman Hampton, which debuted in February, and other MINI Yours special edition models including the Park Lane, Seven, Checkmate and Sidewalk.
Keeping with the philosophy MINI Yours special edition models, the Highgate will feature an exclusive paint finish and unique interior design. Its exterior will feature a special Ice Chocolate Metallic color treatment that is said to be a cross between Hot Chocolate and Astro Black. The interior will be finished in Chocolate leather with contrasting white stitching.
Standard equipment will include automatic climate control, on-board computer, Bluetooth with USB audio, fog lamps, and a sports leather steering wheel.
The Special Edition MINI Clubman Highgate is expected to debut late this year for 2012. The rendering shown here is expected to change when it is officially unveiled.
