A recent study performed in the United Kingdom asked drivers and passengers to indicate what the most likely causes to spark a verbal argument while driving were – and the top response might be a bit surprising.

According to Tesco Cars (via egmCarTech), the British online used car channel that conducted the survey, speeding was actually the top response with 22.7 percent of all responses, followed by getting wrong directions with 19.01 percent of the vote and tailgating rounding out the top three with 13 percent.

It is possible that the polling differs from what American motorists would answer due to the high rate of traffic monitoring cameras and speed traps in the U.K. compared to the U.S., which may in turn make speeding more risky and drive passengers to become vocal in their disapproval.

Other vote getters included bad parking with 5 percent and children fighting in the back seats at 3.9 percent.
