Spied: 2007 Honda CR-V

04/26/2006, 8:18 AM

By admin

Australian magazine Wheels caught the next-generation Honda CR-V in warm-weather testing this month. The Civic-derrived underpinnings mean the new model is very similar in size to the current CR-V. Honda has reportedly reworked its four-cylinder powerplant for slightly more output. The biggest change comes from the exterior design, which is sleeker and more modern. Full photo here.

Looks like an improvment. Better wheel to body proportion. Previous generations always looked like “full size pickup with wheels from Toyota Echo”.

Uggh…Still borrowing Volvo’s taillights, though, I see.

It would be nice to see the picture. It has hit it’s bandwidth limit, so I guess lots of people want to see it….

From the spy photos, the rear of the CR-V 2007 seems quite ordinary…as compared to that of the Mazda CX 7 SUV 2007. Hope Honda designers will change the gear shift to the floor and not maintain the current position below the dashboard.

Wish they apply more luxurious interior design. I really thought the 2006’s audio player is the down point.
