Actually, statistics SHOW and prove that Toyota is going to become the world’s largest car manufacturer in the next 10 years, and GM, or Ford, or Chrysler will die out. It looks like it’s beteween GM and Ford right now, but to say that Toyota won’t take over GM in the future is just ignorance, you sell more cars when you make good, quality vehicles, a pretty basic fact that Toyota has figured out, but GM is still ignoring. Good ridance to the General.

Definitely a big improvement from the current model. I hope GM will develop it with” top of the class everything” instead of half-hearted attempts of just being able to compete with the import brands. Because the Camrys and Accords are a moving target. Offer a DOHC V-6 to the topline models.

I drive a 98 cutlass

Same car as the 98 Malibu so I know a little bit about the history of these cars. The current offering is not very exciting at all. This spied model doesn’t seem like anything revolutionary but much better then the current Malibu/Impala IMHO.

Screw chevy. If GM. really wants Buick back in the game, they should bring back the Grand National. It should be around the size of the 3 series & then copy what BMW is doing and offer three engine choices if they want.

1- The “entry level” G.N. should have a 6 banger
2- The next step could be called a Grand National
Classic or a Grand National “C” and offer a turbo 6
3- The top model should have the Corvettes engine
with about 440-450hp so it could smoke every M,
AMG & S out there.

Buick wants younger buyers……..this would do it.

It’s funny, we know no specs of this car but it’s already junk. Get off the hater bandwagon people. Life is too short to hate on everything. Given GMs track record I am skeptical this will be a good car but who knows, this could be the one that turns it all around.

Great….I’m…so excited about this. This car, along with the upcoming redesigned Chyrsler Sebring do not interest met at all. I’ll stick to Subaru Legacy’s, Mazda 6’s, Honda Accords, Nissan Altimas, even the new Toyota Camry. In fact I’d take a used version of any of those cars than a new 2008 Malibu or Sebring

It does sort of have the G6/ Aura stance. Is Epsilon II only going to be long wheelbase? Because that looks considerably longer than the current malibu, which is to my knowledge the only short wheelbase Epsilon.
