A4… making the Impreza Sport sound sportier than the Impreza shouldn’t be a problem, since about 95% of Imprezas are sold as WRX and WRX STi models anyway.

sorry… but gold and silver don’t work well together on a car.
And they were too lazy to paint the top of the bumper cover to match the fender… so it ends up looking like the bumper was replaced from the wrong car after an accident.

anyone else think the new Impreza looks like a Focus from the side?

Subarus have been a little (or a lot) more distictive than other Japanese cars for years…. now they want to blend.
Even the new Outback has Hyundai Sonata/Kia Sorrento grille.

They fired the designer who designed that ridiculous air-plane front end on the Tribeca. Now all their cars have Chrysler front ends. WTF?

Impreza Sport would make it sound sportier than the Impreza… which wouldnt be the case, but Outback Sport makes it sound sportier than the outback, which is the case. I just dont understand how they can tear apart the fusion between two well-working lineups (outback/legacy) and then give us this thing.

Its not that it is ugly its just the car looks so boring like something you would see every day, But i bet the performance will be farly good just like most Subarus.

Just where is Subaru headed? this will get them nowhere, not to mention the WRX, wich has lost it’s name as “true” compt. for the Evo9. At least they realized that the tribeca needed a desperate facelift…..

I think Subaru really needs to reconsider naming this “Outback Sport” considering they just rationalized the Legacy/Outback lineup by assigning a specific bodystyle to each name – using “Outback” on this severely waters down the brand, particularly since it’s basically just a 2-tone paint scheme on a hatchback now. Why not just call it “Impreza Sport” and be done with it?

I really don’t like it, to me the last generation Subaru was a much more agressive, larger, and more flexible vehicle.

The gap between the hood and front fascia looks huge.

The headlights look like their from a Mazda… for that matter, if you scroll down about halfway, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about with the parked orange Mazda and White Subaru. The Subaru looks like a copy of the Mazda… the headlights, the grill, foglights and turning signal positions, reflectors, even how the window slopes and the spoiler… Can we say copy?
