Ferrari’s not the only carmaker giving student designers the chance to pen their cars of the future — Lamborghini has been looking for new ideas, reports Auto Express. The latest radical concept — pictured right in a highly exaggerated sketch — could point to the long-awaited modern equivalent the marque’s legendary Espada – the four-seater front-engined GT which first made its debut in 1968. The newcomer was styled by a Masters student from one of the most prestigious design schools in Milan, with guidance from Lamborghini’s design chief Walter De’Silva. Set to sit right at the top of the Lamborghini range, the 2009 Lagartijo (as it will likely be named) will have its sights firmly on the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and Aston Martin’s Vanquish.
