Yes,

Yes I agree with Nick, If the Sebring comes out with a Retractable hardtop in the near future & I`m still alive I would purchase one. Although I`m in my mid eighties my chances are slim. I really believe the Sebring is the best looking convertible on the road
today.

The G6 convertible looks too similar to the Chery Convertible that is planned to arrive in the U.S in 2007 under Visionary Vehicles Corp.

The Sebring is one of the most popular convertibles in America, for some reason. Generally, the reliability has improved a great deal, it has a lot of car for the money, and it's hard to argue with a top down and a V6 for pennies on the dollar. The next Sebring is coming out in the next year or so, and will have a hardtop and a complete redesign, finally abandoning that cloud car platform. Should be interesting, and if it's already a top seller, drastic improvements will only help them.

"It’ll probably be bumped off the map pretty quickly when the Sebring hardtop comes out."

Really, a Sebring? why?

From the rear it rather resembles the homely Lexus hardtop convertible. And if that's the price they need to charge, a conventional softop would have been better. I'll take a Mustang V6 for $5000 less.
