Subaru has shown off two upcoming limited-run cars at the currently ongoing SEMA show in Las Vegas. The 2013 Subaru WRX and WRX STI Special Editions are shown off just in time for Halloween with their themed orange and black paintjobs.
The Tangerine Orange paint sits in contrast to black wheels, black grille and bades, as well as black exterior mirror caps. Black graphics run along the lower door sills on either car as well, identifying it as either the WRX or STI.
The WRX Special Edition further gets the STI's dark interior trim, including the headliner. Orange also makes it into the interior thanks to stitching on the seats, doors, and shift boot, while the floor mats also get orange trimming. The STI special Edition gets fog lights.
Just 200 WRX sedans and 100 WRX STI Special Edition sedans will be built and go on sale in the spring of 2013. Prices haven't been announced, but the cars are likely to carry a small premium over the standard 2013 WRX and WRX STI due to their limited numbers and unique look.
The mechanical bits remain unchanged, and neither do the power levels, remaining at 265 horsepower for the WRX and 305 for the STI.
