Since it’s Japanese, it’s a “TRUSTY” 4-speed automatic. Who writes this crap???? If it was an American car, it would be an “OUTDATED” 4-speed automatic. Many vehicles in this segment have 6-speed automatics because they have better performance and gas mileage. Also, Subaru uses a higher pressure turbo to get more horsepower, which is engineering at the go-cart level. Gas mileage on this heap is likely abysmal.

That’s good news. Any price hike for the 2009 model would do it damage in its imminent sales battle against the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback.

i feel sorry for all those good people who bought the 08 wrx. for the same amount of money, others can now buy an 09 wrx that looks better, is so much more powerful in almost every way, and has more respect.

i feel sorry for the people who spend their hard earn money on the 08.

I’d still choose the new Evo over this even though I like the new look. Although the new chassis just isn’t like past ones.
