GM_Sales, on top of SAAB, which autonuff pointed out, what about Mazda and Volvo? They are under Ford's umbrella. Don't generalize unless you know what you are talking about.

Suzuki has no consumer traction. People jump from another brand to try Suzuki only to trade them early for another brand. They have very little brand loyalty and thats where car companies make lots of money...repeat blind business! Suzuki will always be a niche brand. Personally too bland for me and I would rather buy a Honda or Toyota for value and resale. Buy a Suzuki new and see what happens to the value in a 3 year trade cycle. Lose your shorts.

I'd like to see Suzuki offer diesels in America, I believe they have quite a bit of diesel technology. Since Suzuki doesn't sell too many cars (I think... correct me if I'm wrong) in America, it would be nice to have a automanufacturer that doesn't pump out alot of cars, and just meet the demand for them.

Another thing I'd like to see from Suzuki is more sporty models... The last generation Grand Vitara was a scrawny little thing, I couldn't hardly believe the space... but then again, it's just a small SUV.

You know what I think would be cool? A three wheel car/bike hybrid, like Volkswagen was showcasing a while ago...

1487.. So we aren't supposed to support SAAB? Is it not also a foreign brand under the GM umbrella? Oh wait, they sell rebadged Trailblazer SS models now.. so I guess they aren't.

I would think Suzuki would be more ambitious in the compact car arena myself. Something like their Pike's Peak Escuda, but street legal. They clearly have some good ideas. I just wish they'd stick to their strengths: Small and fast.

The Grand Vitara is pretty good but the 2.7 engine sucks too much gas. I'd prefer the 2.0 they have overseas.

It'd too bad for suzuki... Their bikes are what my dreams are made of, while their cars lack in looks, performance, and especially soul. but as GM sales pointed out, thats because GM owns the automotive half of suzuki. go figure!

Being under the GM umbrella, Suzuki is the only foreign brand that Americans should be buying.

Fine. I think the 4x4s have evolved nicely, especially the Grand Vitara. Great little jeeps.
