You’d think that an automaker making the world’s most inexpensive car would cut some marketing corners in order to keep its costs down. But I guess when you’re about to launch the next “people’s car,” you need all the exposure that you can get.
customization
India’s Tata Motors has launched a customization webs site for its $2,500 Nano microcar. The site allows potential customers to choose between different trim levels — a choice between standard and the Luxury trim line, with Luxury offering more colors — and a plethora of colors, pick out the perfect set of custom rims and even selected from some decal packages.
Although loading a Nano to the gills with options might defeat the purpose of its low price, it sure does make the Nano look like it’s packing more than 30 horsepower.
