if the dealer is willing to throw in @ $350 worth of GM stock, why would someone complain?
for anyone not in the loop, the domestic auto business is very tough for reasons far beyond the control of independant new car dealers. the dealers are trying to stay afloat by various methods and this is an example of being creative. if someone is so offended by the offer, why not either ask if the dealer would lower the price further, or go elsewhere. as far as whoring out the vehicles, the dealers are all trying as best as they can to operate profitably. as in any business, there are good and bad operators, but i applaud the effort of someone trying to do something positive, even though there seems to be plenty of whiners complaining about something that doesn’t in any way damage them. offer bars of gold and someone would complain about the tax ramifications. GET A LIFE!

$350 isn’t much of an incentive. I would rather have cash.

true A4: IF the stocks go down more it means we are probably going into a full depresion anyway so F it. IF they go back up then someone has a chance to make a little extra. Some would say they’d rather have the $350 in discount, but I imagine if they are like most dealers I know they are whoring out vehicles anyway.

Good PR and way to be different then the usual BS marketing IMO.
