Italian exotic automaker Ferrari likely has one of the most easily recognizable emblems to adorn any vehicle, but while many may recognize the emblem itself – few know the story behind its origin.

While every Ferrari today wears the black prancing horse and yellow rectangle, that wasn’t always the case – but Enzo Ferrari did once reveal the original source for his inspiration, which is told in the video below.
