Ford dealers are “market-adjustment” whores. How many $$$ will these have added to their sticker?

I was in a dealer two weeks ago the they had added $5K to the price of a C/S package. Which is just a crappy trim package.

I hate to see when there is an actual performance package combined with the Shelby name . They are gonna add a lot more than $5K to the price.

The new Camaro is going to be destroying Boxsters, Z4′z, S2000’s and 350Z cars all day long. GM isn’t going to even need to waste their time on some crap Ford. They’ve got bigger fish to fry, burn, char, disintegrate

You want quality, reliability, style and performance? Buy GM. Everything else is just wannabe

I love the ford mustang (I own two), but for god sakes make another car. They are putting way to much effort into making a great car a little better; they need to make something else that people want. Other than their trucks and the mustang they have nothing. Give us a stylish, midsized, rear wheel drive, car that can be trimmed out as a family truckster (4 doors, v6, affordable), a muscle car (2 door and big engine), and a mild luxury car.

This SHelby is cool and all but you would think Ford would be concentrating on getting some good, key product out as well, not just low volume image cars….

Ford’s future just keeps on looking grimmer by the minute. This Shelby will indeed be a fine sportcar able to compete with top dogs. But while Ford is spending resources developing something so futile for the company’s financial responsibilities, tens of thousands are losing their jobs due to plants closing down.

Developing SVT/Shelby niche vehicles is WONT bring in any cake to the table. Start to invest money on developing hybrid trucks, since your best sellers is the F150. Or was till last week. If you invest the same money you did to cram 500hp on a stang, you can figure out a way to get a truck rollin for 60mpg. And make it look good too.
When you’re finally straight out your profitable truck segment, it’s time to engineer a sleek, european looking sedan that can compete heads on with the new Camry. And while at it, ALSO make this sedan get 60mpg.
And finally Ford, you should REALLY do a new design on the Crown Vic platform and re-release this car again focused on the taxi and cop car segment that you dominate. More and more cab companies and police are buying other cars in a segment that again, has been yours for the longest time.

It isn’t even the fact that he is a die-hard GM fan, it’s the fact that he presents himself with the mentality that “Ohhh you’ll be sorry, cuz my car company can beat your car company up.” JUST THINK!, he WILL BE SO SWEET, when he buys a Camaro w/missle launchers and DESINTEGRATES all car companies in THE WORLD, HAHAHA!

I am almost positive its a GT350. Their only problem is that it should not be too close to the ‘Stang GT in terms of performance, but not enter the GT500’s Pit.

GM forever your a **** idot. The camaro is not even a competetor to the Z4 or boxter or 350z you see these all have two seats and are convertbles noted as roadsters. see different. But if your going to compare the camaro the Z4 M roadster would blow the doors off the camaro and 0-60 is about 3tens oc a second slower than the GT500.

The Camaro is competition for Geely motor cars of China. Lord knows it’ll be as cheap as a Chinese junker. But it’ll have a big honkin v8!
