General Motors may use golf star Tiger Woods at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November to help show off the production version of the Buick Enclave, according to Tom Walsh of the Detroit Free Press. Walsh said he asked GM’s Mark LaNeve if Woods would be personally involved in the launch, and he responded, “That’s an interesting rumor,” and smiled. GM reportedly paid Woods $40 million in 2004 for a five-year promotional deal with Buick . GM is also considering using Woods to promote other GM brands. “Mark and I have talked about it,” GM CEO Rick Wagoner said in a interview Wednesday. He noted that Woods is not only popular in America, but worldwide as well.
