As Hollywood elite continue to opt for Prii over luxury and sports cars, the model continues to gain mainstream appeal, but for some the model has still been lacking the flair and fun appeal of traditional cars. Toyota has a fix for those people and it is called the PLUS Performance package.

The PLUS package starts by transforming the overall look of the Prius with the addition of a seven-piece aerodynamically sound body kit developed by TRD ( Toyota Racing Development), extending from the front bumper and lower fascia, along the custom side skirts and out back to the rear bumper. The body kit also surrounds a set of new, race-inspired 17-inch forged alloy wheels covered in a “liquid metal” finish that Toyota promises are still light-weight.

Transferring the Prius’ eco-friendly power to the ground are 215/45R17 tires, which Toyota points out are attached to wheels that utilize a custom offset wheels for a wider stance, along with a 1.1-inch front and 1.3-inch lowered stance thanks to track-tuned lowering springs from TRD.

Toyota didn’t stop there! They also added a tuned rear sway bar for even better handling. For the inside Toyota added custom-embroidered PLUS Performance badging on the floor mats (matching exterior badging).

Toyota says the PLUS Performance package will be a limited edition offering, available for an extra $3,699 for Prius Two, Three and Four models, or $2,999 for Prius Five models.
