Just as General Motors sales and marketing head Mark LaNeve predicted, automakers are beginning raise prices across the board in order to off-set losses caused by the slumping market and the sharp decrease in truck and SUV sales — historically the biggest earners in the industry.
Toyota announced on Monday that the majority of its vehicles will see an increase in mid-year pricing. The new pricing will become effective in mid to late May.
