We’re a little short on details for now, but Toyota ’s Belgian office says that, just minutes ago, it broke a Guinness World Record for the longest parade of hybrid vehicles.

Toyota organized a parade of 130 hybrid vehicles – namely, the Prius and Auris hybrids – at Tervueren Park west of Brussels earlier today. Although an official release hasn’t been issued, the automaker’s Belgian public relations department says that it gathered 130 vehicles for the parade – and, apparently, a Guinness official was on site to confirm the world record.

The Guinness crew specified prior to the event that it would certify a parade of hybrids only if just one manufacturer was represented. The previous record was just shy of 100 vehicles, Toyota said.
