But really, we didn’t side with the Japanese car. We were just against the destruction of someone else’s property. I would be really mad if someone did something like that to my car, no matter what car I had.

Maybe they work for Toyota. Or maybe they have a rental car. Apparently you drive a Volvo S60. I may be wrong though. How would you like it if someone made a massive scratch on your shiny Volvo for no reason at all only because they found other cars more attractive. Thats like shooting someone because the person standing next to them look better.

U all should applaude for me for doing those things. I hope it opens their eyes when its time for a new car and pick better looking, non-Jap cars.

At least no one here is buying the Camry for its resale value. Those that actually like it genuinely DO like it, and it’s good that THEY are buying it. Those that buy for resale value are messed up in the head, and should be buying US bonds instead.

you really need some growing up.

People who can’t afford both camry and Cayman, but a BMW 3-series.. and convince themselves that they have the ultimate driving machine, when really they are driving the ultimate compromising machine. Jack of all trades, master of NONE.

Also, I find the Genesis refreshing that it’s NOT like the Japanese designs. It’s a classy look similiar to that of the current M45, designed before this ugly wave came through. The Genesis Coupe though, I don’t like. It’s just too fadish in design and I don’t think will look good 5-10 years down the line.

I also give Mazda a pass on this rant, I like the current Mazda6 and don’t hate the new Mazda3 either, but I never picture Mazda in the same boat as the other Jap3. Mazda is the outsider that can see what others are doing wrong and not make their mistakes – except the highly criticized 3 front end.

i do think that the number of sporty offerings from across the pacific has dwindled over the past 5-10 years, but they still do make some fun rides (and hyundai is making a decent stab at it with the genesis coupe)…you’ve earned some flogging over the 370z comment, though, shame on you!
