Hybrid

Early look: Toyota Hi-CT Concept

Toyota has released images of its Hi-CT Concept ahead of its Tokyo Motor Show debut. Intended for the youth market, the Hi-CT is designed to be a highly versatile urban vehicle that is “unconstrained by conventional vehicle size.” The Hi-CT features a removable trunk and a deck for carrying surfboards, bicycles and other equipment.

The Hi-CT utilizes a plug-in hybrid powertrain — storing the batteries under the floor for increased interior volume — that provides an extended driving range. The Hi-CT also features a AC100V accessory socket for other electronics.

If you want loads of space for equipment, there’s something called a trailer. It doesn’t make you look deeply idiotic when driving around.

Ok I have strained to look at the photos some more and besides the fact that this car is total junk, I just have to say that those are the WORST rims I have ever had the displeasure to set my eyes upon. Rolling on black stock steels would look like a 3 piece rim compared to this crap.

Whats the design theme of the wheels anyhow? Connectivity is my guess and if thats true then wtf. The only thing those wheels connect is that scrap of **** to the pavement so that it can contaminate the roads with its design filth. Whats that coming down the street??? Its a big electric eyesore cruising at a cool 10 miles under the speed limit!

Toyota’s new appliance car is to be called the M1cR0 WaVe. They assure us it’s a hybrid, and comes with the best heater ever seen in a car, ever. Should be a success in Russia and Canada, although they say the want to get more sales from Iceland.
