Toyota is on a mission to reinvent the image of the minivan with its latest Sienna offering. To do so, they have called on “the Sienna Family” to create a series of comedic commercials, and even a fairly mainstream sounding hip-hop music video.
Meet the Sienna Family. They represent the average American family, with average American family vehicles needs. As Toyota sees it, they couldn’t find a better suited vehicle for their family needs than the 2010 Sienna SE minivan.
Although some of the commercials are not much more than standard comedic commercials, Toyota decided to mix it up with an MTV-style, practically radio worthy (except for the lyrics) song. While the song certainly will appeal to the youth, we’re not sure that it will appeal to the middle-aged parents Toyota hopes to put behind the wheel of the Sienna.
Either way, Toyota will certainly generate some positive buzz with this catchy tune.
