You sure about that? Every competitor is doing the same thing and Hyundai and Honda have not announced losses thus far. What makes you think losing money is going to make Toyota rise to the top in 18 months? It cracks me up how people think Toyota’s competitors are standing still waiting for Toyota to stomp them. Toyota’s biggest advantage is hybrid tech and they will slowly lose their edge on that front over the next 3 years. Ford and Honda especially are going after them in hybrids.

Toyota are asking for a bailout in the form of currency manipulation BTW. They want the government to intervene to lower the value of the Yen to help their profits.

Well there is no evidence that Toyota or Honda makes POS’s but there is evidence that D3 does. The J2 resale values are high and they are reliable. If anyone want to take a chance on a D3 product I say go for it but just know they are are taking a chance on an unknown kid and the wiser decision would be to go with the PROVEN winner which is the Camry and Accord Corolla and Civic etc etc
Once again the j2 arent asking for a bailout so they are in better financial status no matter what bull**** you use to try and spin it lol

Oh, sorry about the D3..I thought you were trying to create another one of your cleaver “GM = Garbage Motors” analogies.

As for being hit just as hard by the financial crisis, I meant that Toyonda have seen just about the same drops in sales, they have not bucked the market trend, no, they are like every other automaker. Also, the reason they aren’t asking for gov. bailout is because they are sitting on a lot of cash that they’ve made from people like you (if you actually own one of their POS like you so proudly claim you do) over the past decade. That cash doesn’t reflect current trends, but PAST ones. Also, the only Jap automaker that may be asking for a bailout, Nissan, is lucky enough to be tied up to Renault.

well i cant account for how good a driver was in the charger. i beat a twin turbo mitsu 3000gt iway back in 2001 with a 1985 mustang lx. the other driver missed the two three shift. it had nothing to do with my car being faster he was a bad driver. he had a ton of mods but couldnt shift kinda sad my car was mostly stock. and this one time at band camp……

actually at my dealership like i mentioned we sell used and new and suzuki so i am doing fine. xmas is will be good at my house. actually i have two friends one works for toyota and one for honda and the one who works for toyota his house is in foreclosure and the one who works for honda mortgage is paid but car note late. so its not just what you sell its customer retention and referral business. as for masturbation it gives me something to do when im reading import mags haha hondas rule!

What the hell are you talking about? Vehicles like the the Malibu and CTS were not funded with your small amount of tax dollars. I agree with sj79 all manufacturers were selling cars. The owner of my dealership also owns Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep,Kia, Ford,Chevy,Suzuki, Pontiac GMC and Buick. All our dealerships were selling cars before the gas prices went up. They are all in trouble because people arent spending money not because their products are garbage, but because of gas prices and the mortgage mess. Toyota is affected as much as GM because their market share is relative. GM has a larger piece of the pie worldwide so it is losing more money than Toyota, but look at their market share and their loss,they are in pretty tough shape too right now.
