Patriotism goes much further then just what kind of car you drive. How stupid to say thats why domestic trucks are still on the roads. Toyota would not even have a fullsize truck if not for America. The Tudra is a decent truck, a little on the strange looking side with those odd body lines but is it any better then the other fullsize trucks on the market. Probably not. Yes it is Motor Trends truck of the year which says very little in reality, but if you backtrack to early last year, Motor Trend had a shoot out between the new Tundra and the new Silverado. The Silverado won. This comes from a very import biased publication. The GM trucks get better gas mileage then even the Tundra with the base 4.7 liter? Thats with an antiquted 4 speed AT compared to Toyota's 6 AT?? If you are what you say you are, your very new to it and very young. Go ahead write something stupid back in retaliation. Very smooth and quiet like a luxury car, accelerates like a sports car, and stops like a porsche! That V8 runs so nice, when your at a stop light you think its not even running, thats how quiet it is. The only thing thats keeping Ford and GM trucks on the roads today is customers foolish patriotism for domestic trucks. But patriotism only has short term benefits.
