Last time Leftlane brought you an update regarding halted production by Toyota it was in regards to an eight day stoppage at the automaker’s European plants, but now the automaker has released an updated production schedule for its efforts in Japan.

Toyota has already announced that all of its Japanese vehicle manufacturing facilities would be operating from April 18 through April 27, albeit at about half capacity, followed by an annual holiday period through May 9.

Now, the world’s number one automaker says it will continue production on May 10 at the same half capacity rate through June 3, at which point it will reassess its supplies and determine future plans at that time.

Due to these significant production drops, Toyota has already announced that it is expecting parts shortages for repairs, as well as limited supplies of vehicles this summer.
