Personally I’m proud to drive an 08 Tundra 5.7 (designed in CA/MI and built in TX with 80%+ USA parts), especially when pulling out of red lights.

As for the truck, its MOST LIKELY a dealer mechanic with too much time on his hands (front end parts swap) instead of a true prototype capture.

For once, I agree with ihustle…Toyotas, Nissans and Hondas (if you can call the Ridgeline a pickup) are the worst trucks out there. Furd, though is still not the best even though a bunch of retards buy them.

Yes, but the Tacoma and Hilux have the overwhelming majority of their sales in North America as well. Hilux may sell a few ten thousand outside of the states in a year, where they will sell that much in a month in America. Same applies for the F-series truck.

fuk-u-asshole- Sorry dude, the Hilux isn’t a “top” choice globally. The F-series outsells it in only ONE market, where the Hilux failed. The current Hilux doesn’t have near the durability of past ones, and the Tacoma which had been a derivative of the Hilux isn’t any longer. More military organizations choose the F-series chassis over Toyota’s.
