Toyota sales dropped 21% per selling day but 11.5 overall. There were two less selling days in 2008.

How much longer will we have to read about how Toyota cares about the environment and reads long term gas price trends better than Detroir automakers? I am not buying these Prius excuses. Why are they running out of batteries all of a sudden? Last year they had no supply problems and now suddenly they cant find enough batteries and sales are down big time. the media and Toyota PR people say one thing about Toyota’s lineup and the sales figures say another. Could there be a dumber purchase. 25000 for a car that gets 40-45 or 16000 for a focus that gets 35mpg. You do the math. Check you US auto stock profilio, you will probably need to cry. Maybe GM can give 0% finance for 10 years on all their cars and trucks so they can break even for this year. ^^^
