Wait a minute, the report said “last in CUSTOMER SATISFACTION,” that could include things like dealership service experience and not all about “poor quality.” LLN, please don’t jump to conclusion without giving us the foundation of your conclusion. For what it’s worth, Fiat could have been the most well built cars in the UK, but with such arrogant dealership to land at #28.

Fiat has been gone a long time.Now, in all fainess maybe things are better. I don’t like to generalize, When Mercedas bought Chrysler. I thought with their engineering excellence, product qualiry would go up. Instead the quality of MB’s products went down. I had a Alfa Romeo. I loved it, when it was running.. The Jeep brand has value. I suggest that Roger Penske buy Saturn from GM and Jeep from Chrysler and develop a quality american car compamy with two nameplates that still have a very high name recognition.

They can think about bringing the Punta here after their image is clean up and the Domestic Products for 2010 and 2011 are under way.”

As nice as that would be, that’s probably the last thing that will happen. It sounds like their interest in Chrysler was for their dealer networks so Fiat could start selling cars here again without having a build a new dealer network.

Strada was reliable; it was based on 125. 124 spider was a piece of mechanical work, but handled better then 2002.
