BMW tuner G-Power has has built a supercharged version of the BMW 7-Series, with 550 horsepower and a breathtaking 740 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. The car sprints to 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds. The automatic transmission has been upgraded to cope with the added power that the G7 supercharger conversion kit supplies. The G7 rides on 22 inch wheels with 11 inch wide tires on the rear. Top speed is described as in excess of 188 mph.

I like that G-Power didn’t bolt on too many body parts and slap on wings and add scoops and fairing all over. They kept the mods largely performance based.

The 7-series design is looking old in my opinion.

Long as they don’t bastardize the body that is fine. I think all high luxury cars should have very minimal tuning. I still believe with vehicles like this it is not about 0-60 mph timesheet, it is about enjoying a smooth ride. It is pure immaturity to start pimping 7- series, MB S-Class etc. It’s like pimping a Limo- how ridiculous does that sound: extremely ridiculous.

It’s so you and your three closest office buddies can make your tee time when that meeting lasted much longer than you expected.

the 750i doees a 0-60 in 5.8 secons, how does an extra 190hp only shave .3 second of the accelaeration time??? something isnt right.

Hmm with such 22″ wheels, the 740 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm is quite reassuring.

Anyway FFFFFF (#6), read carefully: it says 0-62mph in 5.5s

Tuner companies are notorious exaggerating their power claims.
May or may not be the case here.

meanwhile the audi S8 goes to 60 in 5.1 seconds with 100 less horsepower.. hmm those numbers arent very impressive. nor is that ugly G badge, the BMW badge IMO is awesome, and those rims are ok…

the difference between 0-60 and 0-62 may be less than .1 with acceleration times so i dunno what the hell daemon is talking about.

Sometimes, carmakers gear cars to give good 0-60 times, then there’s a shift right at 60. So, oftentimes the sprint from 0-60 is as much as 3 or 4 tenths faster than 0-62 (100 km/h).
