Get it right all of u cept 23 & 24 are right!
RICE is the term given to adding stupid exterior modifications like an un-neccesarily large wing to a car that will never reach speeds to make use of it, or putting cheapo bodykits that aren’t bolted properly and only weigh down the car.
Usually done to JDMs (Nissan, Honda/Acura, Mitsubishi, Subaru). For Hammann and like u can say they are ’stylists’ not a ricers.

Just to get it right:

so the nxt time u use the word RICE, know the the meaning before using the word.

Cool car, but I still don’t get why LLN’s always reports on these “tuner” jobs. It must be their aren’t any hot rod shops on that side of the pond. In the US you can drive into your average hotrod/speed shop and you will see a handfull of 400-1000+ HP cars kicking around the parking lot and in the bays. Very weird guys

Very nice and all, but that’s where it ends – very nice.

Not spectacular, not exactly sexy, not nearly exclusive enough, not even here in Cape Town, I see one or two every day. Benters’ still haven’t got their ‘image’ right – no fault of VW, I suspect, but still, a little too staid.

Now – what the world REALLY needs is a mad-hatter go-cuck-fast mod for the upcoming Jaguar XKR, if that car is allowed to see less than 4 seconds on a timer, I’ll never, I mean NEVER dream of owning a Ferrari again. Period.

Geez, and people rip it off for looking ‘too like an Aston,’ what bull**** – it looks BETTER.

Aston’s are beautiful, the new XK is just – more so.

So what if I was given the Bentley then? Why, I’d drive it all day with a f***ing ridiculous smile on my mug; but if it was my money – we’ll you guessed it…

I think the number one requirement for a car to be “riced” is that it is Japanese. The Bentley Continental GT is German (yeah I know Bentley is English, but everyone knows this car is 98% VW) Not rice.

Tricking out an expensive car with the dubs is “ghetto fabulous”.
(especially when you leave the little brakes on it)

And also, the fact that in some places, the Continental GTs are common, does not make them any less beautiful/awesome. Grow up. I work in Winter Park, FL, where on a daily basis, I see more than five GTs, a few Flying Spurs, Arnage, Phantoms, Lambos, Ferraris, etc. And I dont think any less of these cars. How could you? You’re clearly just jealous that you dont have one. Imagine for a second you had the money to buy one, and you did. Wouldn’t you be pretty freaking satisfied with owning the world’s fastest Bentley?

You people who say these tuned Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Mercedes, etc are rice clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Rice is defined as something added to make the car LOOK like a fast car without it actually being fast. Read the title of the article: “Tuner builds the WORLDS FASTEST Bentley.” That means that its fast. Really fast. The fastest. Also meaning, NOT RICE. So suck it.

The official website sais it puts out 795 nm of torque. And the 0-62 time is 4.4 secs.

I’ve seen a black bentley recently in my neighborhood. The guy put 21″ chrome wheels on it and tinted the windows. Here’s how rice the stock car looks…. the 21″ chrome wheels and the tinted windows really fit the car.

I got nothing against rice, it’s just not my taste. However, Bentley -I thought- are suppose to be classy. I think they failed on this model.

Ham Shandy, I never even thought I could keep up in my shiatbox SUV. I know the hierarchy of performance cars and this thing is way above the X5. Next time I accidently see a rare car, I’ll be sure to bring a faster vehicle.

I just was amazed at the pace of this thing. In the rain.

BTW, V8 X5’s are not slow.

These Continental GTs are so common in south Florida that they don’t get any attention any more, they just blend in with the rest of the automotive landscape. I guess that’s why there will always be a market for someone to modify them.

Thing is…if you really wanted to be “fast” why mod ur Continental? Go out and get a Z06. Prolly cheaper than the actual mod!

All the continentals around here are driven by women anyways…they don’t any more horses…too deadly already.

This is probably a car you will want to leave the warranty intact for. Then again if you can afford a modified Continental GT, you can proably afford the service.

Was driving my X5 4.4i on 95 a while back, early morning. A Continental GT goes by at about 100 MPH, I stomped on the gas, and I could do nothing. It just kept disappearing in the distance. It was raining hard. What a car.
