ART Tuning put together a slick kit for the 2007 Mercedes S-Class to give it a sportier look and ride. The firm described it as a “successful collaboration of parallel projecting lines, optimally placed air inlets, distinctive cut-outs and sophisticated supplementary headlamps now define the appearance of the basic S-Class.” Images after the jump…

Is it just me, or has Mercedes managed to get more and more bland through every new model rollout? That thing looks more like an Avalon than anything else.

take a closer look at the 2007 S-Class with AMG sport package. It is an amazing looking car. It isn’t supposed to be a ricer with ground effects.

In my oppinion, this just makes the S class look like an entry tuner… But I realize that those of the less-is-more persuasion are increasingly diminshed in the luxury performance segment.

The new S class is really nice, I’ve driven a few of them. I guess that appeals to people who want that great luxury plus radical looks.

This is a beautiful car, made too look sportier with this new kit. What can i say, the S class if a fantastic series and this kit would make any car enthusiast wanting a sportier look happy.

The white colour doesn’t suite the car, but never the less, it still looks good.

Body kit is ugly, makes the car look too much like the CLS. I went to the dealer to look at one (S550)…….I like it.

I thought the S was a 7 Series with a body kit on it.
