say what?

"20"wheels are just ridiculous, especially on a car that will never see a set of slicks or a proper race circuit"

show me a company that makes 20" race slicks. race slicks are usually for 17" wheels, give or take an inch.

and show cars are the ones with massive wheels, that are only for looks.

tbh the wheels are the nicest thing amongst that shitty bodykit. whats wrong with 20" wheels if its only gunna get street driven (and not very often)? if it was raced, then yeah the wheels would have to downsize a bit maybe but why would a race car have 20" wheels when it can have tiny wheels with a higher diff ratio to equal same road speed but with less rotating mass?

btw im getting an R31 or R32 4dr sedan soon. the newer ones are too heavy.

Yes thanks, I watch F1 regularly as I live in Europe where we have real motorsport that consists of slightly more than driving around in circles... This of course requires brains and skill as the courses have corners, which is why legends like Nigel Mansell can win F1 and Champs car is consecutive seasons, but Champ car drivers last all of one race before being dropped from the team or crashing every single race.

And I worked for McLaren for 18 months. No one has used anything as primitive as chromoly steel for a very long time. Just because NASCAR uses ancient over weight steel roll cages doesnt mean the rest of the world does. And NASCAR is for rednecks, Rice is Jap speed freaks.

Perhaps your poorly informed opinions are best kept to yourself in future, as having seen you other posts you rarely have anything contructive to offer to a discussion in addition the fact that you never know what you are talking about. You might also want to brush up on your geography. The Skyline is Japanese, not European. There are far better cars that can lay claim to the title European Corvette. Perhaps I can encourage to go away and actually 'think' for your self, if you have the capacity to actually do so.

p.s. If you'd like to re-write of this post in simple English and in crayon, please let me know. I appreciate large words and complex sentence structure can be a little daunting to some one who spells 'furious' wrong.

wtf?!?!?!?!?? I normally have a soft spot for 34's, but this is the wankiest one yet.

20"wheels are just ridiculous, especially on a car that will never see a set of slicks or a proper race circuit. And the paint job!!! I've seen some OK looking olive green "d-style" cars, but those were S13's without 5lbs of stickers, and had normal sized wheels. Leave it to the american companies to further bastardize the japanese tuning cars.

Wow, Maverick I did not know that and am surprised but not completely as many big companies buy up boutique ones with superior products. I love Xymol and have never ever had any good experience with base "Turtle Wax" branded products...

I would like to see how much each of those overkill 20" wheels + tires weighs. Surely more sensibly-sized wheels (17" or so) would shave many many pounds off the rotating mass (equalling lower moment of enertia and quicker acceleration).

#2 Chromo roll cage usually found in an F1 car? ever watched the sport? Anyone ever read a review of the skyline? It's the corvette of europe, fast, eh thats not special, i've seen minivans run 10s, pretty? obviously not, and shitty quality? Well, it's no infiniti.. Get over your fast and ferious wet dreams... skylines blow

P.S. straight line competion show's 20% of a cars performance, and 10% of a drivers skill, it is, and never will be, a benchmark that a competent, intelligent auto enthusiast refers to in describing how great a car is. 1/4mile ricers are the new rednecks... i cant wait for the inline 4 NASCAR series.

this car is not rice. There are some changes I would make, of course (those wheels would have to go...) but with motor, rollcage, etc, this can easily be called import.

Rice is a fart-can muffler and a K&N immitator air intake. 18s 1/4 IS NOT FAST. 17s 1/4 IS NOT FAST.

Great, another(!) modified Skyline...

1st and foremost, a 4 door - why? Green and gold... tasteful! And a cromo roll cage normally found in an F1 car?! What are these people on? I think they are high on nitrous.

I suppose this is exciting as you cant buy Skylines in the US but there surely must be better options for a decent show car? I thought you lot hated 'rice' as you are so fond of calling it?
