I think we’re going to see power windows and air conditioning when it gets here… Although, since I now live in California, air conditioning wouldn’t be a bad thing! A necessary evil maybe… When I lived in the UK I had a Lotus Elise – and it had no comforts – but it was one of the most awesome drives money can buy…

What will be funny is seeing Americans try and figure out how to open the door – as you can see, there are no visible door handles

TVR is the essential sports car. Give me a kick-ass chassis, raw powertrain and a slick body. Most automakers soften up the cars for the US. Don’t. I can crank the windows myself.

I can’t wait for TVR to be here stateside if it is true. I have always drooled over them on my visits to the UK and really like the rawness its cars offer. It truely is a car to be driven, no cupholders and all that crap, just get in, turn it on and drive! Hell on wheels literally. Sex on wheels for that matter! LOL! And if you think they look good in pictures, see them in person! I can’t wait! Maybe by then I could afford to buy one! Hehe.

#13- John Travolta actually OWNS that TVR Tuscan shown in the movie. It’s got that multi-color color scheme that glows different shades of blue, green and purple from different angles and lights. It’s really sick.

TVR takes the Lotus style of light and simple to extremes. They do not believe in anything that adds weight even if it is a safety item.

I hope TVR ironed out its quality problems before coming to the ultra competitive North American market. The Sagaris is still the best TVR to date.

TVR never complied to NHTSA’s rules because they weren’t aiming for the USA but I’m sure that they’ll pass them. Except if they continue saying why they don’t put air bags in their cars.The precedent owner was saying : “Well, just don’t have an accident!”

I would love to see TVR coming to North America, it’s an other brand who is better than GM by a long shot.

Isnt the reason why TVR doesnt sell in the USA the NHTSA’s rule on cars? Correct me if I’m wrong, but TVRs dont pass either the safety regulations or the emissions regulations (they have no catalitic converters) or so I’ve read.
