Most Hollywood A-listers boast a garage full of high-dollar luxury automobiles, but Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame takes a different approach to vehicle ownership. The British-born actor recently revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that he buys all his cars exclusively from Craigslist.

While most actors banking $26.5 million per year are more than content to splurge on a Rolls-Royce and a driver, Pattinson is a little more careful with his money. The 26-year-old spent less than 0.01 percent of his annual salary on his latest ride - an American pickup from the early 2000s.

"I got a 2001 Silverado. It's beautiful. Solid car," Pattinson revealed to late night host Jimmy Kimmel. "I buy everything off Craigslist. Every single car that I've bought."

After some haggling Pattinson says he got the seller to accept $2,500 for the truck. Although affordable even by 99 percenter standards, the Silverado was more than double the price of Pattinson's last car purchase.

"The first car I ever bought was $1,000," he said of another Craigslist buy. "I thought I negotiated it myself, but I just got reminded that I had just moved to L.A. and I turned up with my agent and my manager literally to negotiate the price of a $1,000 car."

Pattinson still owns that car - a 1989 BMW - but needed to buy the Silverado after it "blew up."

"I still have it. It's just blown up," he told Yahoo! last fall.
