It seems like just yesterday that we were posting spy pictures of the highly-anticipated Porsche Panamera, but the controversial four-door is already due for its mid-cycle refresh.
The Panamera’s update is expected to be moderate, but will include a revised front end. Look for the new front clip to sport revised headlights as well as a reshaped bumper.
The Panamera has been criticized for its bulbous rear end, but Porsche will address that issue with the updated car. It remains unknown exactly what Porsche has planned for the rear of the Panamera, but the four-door will reportedly emerge from its mid-cycle update with a more sedan-like profile.
The Panamera’s interior should also get some improvements, although nothing major.
Porsche is planning to unveil its latest Boxster model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, so we could see the updated Panamera at the New York auto show. Of course the Beijing auto show remains a distinct possibility as China is quickly emerging as one of Porsche’s most important markets.
