New car sales aren't going to improve in the later half of this year... whoever thinks that is delusional. Two of the "Big 3" are about to tank hard. There are going to be several thousand more people laid off... not just at the factories... but at the dealerships and service departments too. People that wash and detail the new cars, truck drivers that make the deliveries, this is going to be a lot more than just some poor folk up in Detroit. I hope those suppliers are ready to lay off about half of their workforce... because that is what it is going to take. So they want money to help them keep making parts for cars that aren’t selling?
