Video: 2007 Mercedes CL-Class

Back in June, we told you about the debut of the 2007 Mercedes CL-Class (CL 500, CL 600). Mercedes has since released a promotional video for the car. Aside from the elevator-esque soundtrack, the video is definitely worth a look if you’re a Mercedes fan. See the footage after the jump…

Ride or Die! On a more relevant note, did anyone realize how comfortable those seats look.

I like it.

I think the front fascia has a dumbfounded, a little high, puffy eyed appearance though. :)

260mph?? Really come on I think somebody is a little optomistic. And its outside looks worse than the one that is now. Really I cant say the one now looks bad really its quite nice looking to the eye. But that new intiior is sweeet. Compine this with the old and Ill will never say another bad thing about this car

Finally, this car distinguishes itself in the merc line-up while still looking familar to merc’s look. Not too different and not too similar. Something merc needs to work on…I can only hope the new C-class isn’t a mini S-class. Not that i don’t like the S :)

I love the partial wood steering wheel, but it’s not as nice as the full wood MOMO found in Jag’s.

That music tells you who this car was meant for: 80+ year olds! It seems like a really nice car though with a great interior, albeit a very generic exterior shape. With the new 5.5L base engine, this will be an expensive car…

Hey foster – that speedometer is not in MPH – it is KPH…

I am so not in this demographic and hope not to be, even when I am 80+.

I thought it was the CL550 not the CL500…?

ehhh

I know in America it is CL550, but in Europe the new S class is still called the S500 (very prestigeous or well known), so maybe they are keeping it the CL500?
