Video: Impressive stunt driving by Saab performance team

There’s not much we can say about this video, other than you need to see it. To make a long story short, the video depicts the Saab Performance Team performing some pretty incredible driving stunts with two cars in close quarters. To see the James Bond-style stunts, have a look at the video after the jump…

If they made that into a commercial that aired on national television, I wonder how effective the commercial would be?

hey Toy Yoda… they certainly would be a hell of a lot better than the Born from Jets crap they’ve been throwing out..
Gimme a break … Do something original at least… if VW can once again have superior ads than any one can even poor old Saab.

yes, that “Born From Jets” ad really has the opposite effect than intended on me. I don’t see why I should be particularly interested in a car because an aircraft engineer designed it. In fact, that just tells me that saab engineers are inexperienced automotive engineers.

They should really change their ads to something more effective.

Even the company motto: “Move your mind.” Is so much clever and enticing than “Born from Jets.”

The way I see it, they should keep their slogan AND translate this into a commercial somehow. It works perfectly, it’s just like the stunts pilots do with fighter jets. That way “born from jets” actually means something. They shuold also have a car that can boast all those jet like manuvers stock (assuming those in the video were souped up). Of course that was probably their intension..but it seems most of us haven’t even seen this.
