I also don't like the tail lights, and yes the grill is a little weird. And i hate that futuristic interior. i want to see this car with a grill similar to the Fisker Tramonto. Just out of curiosity i want too see what the hard-top convertible version of this car would look like. Aside from my little design alterations i think that this is a great car and a definite step in the right direction for Jag. And i think that Jag will take that as a complement. Personally, I would like to add that the platform is from the S Type, engine gearbox and running gear are pretty much stock Jaguar. So there will be plenty Jaguar genes in the car. As for Aston influences, well, didnt the E Type Jaguar start all the super sleek looks in the firsr place? If you compare the silhouette shapes they are not much different. I will also add, a lot of cars, vans & 4x4s use or borrow bits from other manufacturers, big deal if jag borrows an idea or some bits from the parts bin. Since all the legislation on car design in the name of safety came in, we have lost some great designs. Personally I think pedestrians should keep off the roads and then car designers can really get going again, and we can see some terrific cars on the road. Brilliant 4v DOHC inline 6, but the interior was falling apart, and the problems with the transmission, hydraulic brake and suspension system, ugh. But this, I would love to drive and to have. Even with a less showy interior, that exterior is wonderous. Any word on what engine powers that thing? It would be rich if they brough back the 3.6 inline 6, but with more power. Although mine was only rated for 189 hp, it still did 150 on the highway no problem. I absoultly love it.
