When we first reported on the jet-engine powered Volkswagen Beetle created by mechanical engineer Ron Patrick, there was some skepticism about the authenticity of the story and photos. This weekend, those doubts were put to rest as San Francisco Chronicle reporter Michael Taylor got up close with Mr. Patrick and his wild Bettle. how dumb, with that much power you cant even go anywhere safely. light other cars on fire and i doubt that measily bug can handle the power, let alone the plain street tires.

It clearly shows its not for drving just for sho wand something neat to do and he even says when hes on the highway he goes 100 if he uses it so i think just about any car could handle that
