Video: production 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

You’ve already seen the official photos of the production version of the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. Now it’s time for some video. Alfa Romeo today released some driving footage of the stunning 8C coupe to coincide with its first public showing at the Paris Motor Show. The videos show various angles of the 8C as it navigates twisty roadways in Europe.

The car will feature a 4.7-liter Maserati V8 engine, producing 450 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, with 347 pound-feet of torque at 4,750 rpm. The transmission is a six-speed dual-clutch. Just 500 units will be built each year. Videos after the jump…

It does make the R8 look like a surgical instrument. I love retro design regardless of what people say about it. What’s wrong with taking a few snippets from the past.

What kills me is all those people (press included) who whined about the “new” Muira and now it appears they won’t be producing it. Tragedy.

So what do we get instead?
A Versace LP640… ring a ding ding bling bling bling.
