As previously noted, the new car gets a revised exterior with new LED taillights and more painted body cladding. The interior has also been updated, which is shown in detail in our second video. Will they put the twin-turbo six in this car? That would be sweet. Performance would be like the 4.8is.

The car in the video is the 3.0si, never heard of that model here. I like the wheel arches and fender flares. The headlights and tailights are pretty cool. The interior looks like it got a much needed upgrade.
These are nice cars, my father has one. I like it better than my X5 in the snow, and at the gas pump. I think next year we will get the diesel motor in the states.
Right now there is no alternative high end small SUV.

How is BMW positioning this SUV? In the “over $30,000+” category?

You are definitely out of your mind to compare a Chevy or Pontiac with a Bimmer.
The X3 sales have increased each year since it’s intro in 04. The X3 has superior performance, safety, resale value, handling and reliability.

The X3 corners like a 3 series, if you think its ugly thats fine, you like what you like visually. It is a very nice vehicle IMHO

It’s a nice car, but what’s BMW doing pitching it to “off-road” crowd? People who drive this thing live in suburbs, not in lodges in the wilderness.
